Halfords wanted to make serious cyclists sit up and take notice. But in a world where premium bikes are scrutinised down to the last millimetre of spec, changing perceptions was no easy ride. Enter ‘Spectacular’—a campaign designed to turn heads and challenge expectations.









Rather than telling cyclists how good these bikes were, we let the bikes do the talking. Striking visuals, high impact communications, and razor-sharp targeting ensured the right audience saw the incredible design, performance, and value for themselves. We teased, we surprised, and most importantly, we let them judge for themselves. And it worked. Over 36,000 serious cyclists engaged with the new range online, leading to £1.01M in premium bike sales and a newfound credibility for Halfords in the high-performance cycling space. Proof that when creativity and precision come together, even the toughest critics can be won over.
